A Load of Old Rubbish! - making music from junk

Use everyday materials to make some very simple, yet surprisingly effective, musical instruments.  We will also look at simple ways of generating music from the instruments.  All materials for the workshop will be provided.

Samba Rhythms

Starting with physical warm ups, name games and clapping games, leading into learning samba rhythms. The aim is to play an ensemble percussion piece in a Brasilian style with authentic instruments. Loud, syncopated and sexy!
